Each lesson progresses gently, starting with a word family, then reinforcing those words in the context of a short sentence, followed by an engaging story that contains only the sounds they’ve already mastered. Copywork, interactions with diacritical marks, and purposeful activities help students to differentiate between letter sounds and reinforce concepts through multi-sensory learning.

Students begin to further their understanding of the spelling patterns that words typically follow through continued practice with copy work and the introduction of diacritical marks.
